Getting Started

In the first instance you'll need to download NeoRaffle. You can always find one of the latest versions in the #downloads channel in our Discord. All new updates will be automatically downloaded by the bot itself as soon as you start it.

After you have downloaded NeoRaffle your folder should look like this:

Useful programmes

Because we're a CLI-Bot you'll have to edit files like .json or .csv that you normally wouldn't touch. We want to recommend you two programmes that will make it easier and clearer for you to edit them.

Getting Started MacOS

Step 1

Check, whether the NeoRaffle file is a document. If not, you can run NeoRaffle. If yes, you have to do some extra steps before you can start NeoRaffle. The file has no permissions to execute. To fix that, you have to change the rights and convert the document file into an executable unix-file.

Step 2

Open the Terminal and type the command sudo chmod 777 (Don't forget the space at the end of the command). Then drag the NeoRaffle file into the Terminal and execute the command.

Step 3

Type in your password to confirm and change the rights of the file.

Step 4

The file should now be a executable unix-file, congrats!
